Texas PBS

Texas PBS is a nonprofit association representing the 12 public television stations across the state of Texas. The stations work together to sustain public media for all Texans. The Association was founded in 1981 with a mission to build a vibrant public broadcasting platform throughout Texas.

Their mission is to:

  • Cultivate financial resources for local affiliates.
  • Spearhead collaboration among stations.
  • Illuminate public issues through relevant program content.
  • Advocate for policies that support robust public media.
