CAIT BEROZA

Cait Beroza joined APTS as a Government Relations Assistant in June 2011 and was promoted to Advocacy and Social Media Manager in October 2012. Cait manages APTS’s grasstops initiative, the Leadership Council, which is a group of community leaders, lay leaders and active station volunteers who work with APTS and their nominating stations to act as ambassadors between their member station, their community and their federal lawmakers. She develops and implements grasstops political advocacy plans for Leadership Council members and their nominating stations. Cait also leads the Association’s grassroots social media and e-mail messaging for the 170 Million Americans for Public Broadcasting campaign.

Prior to joining APTS, Cait consulted in Washington, DC for several Congressional campaigns including Congressman Rush Holt, Congressman Steve Israel, Congresswoman Louise Slaughter, Congressman Paul Tonko and Congressman Silvestre Reyes. Her responsibilities included Political Action Committee and individual targeting and fundraising, event planning and the development and execution of online grassroots campaigns. 

Cait holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government & Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
