Grant Coordinator

Ellen Holloway joined APTS in September 2009 as the Grant Coordinator. She will conduct research, writing and agency coordination associated with acquisition of federal and foundation grants for public television stations.

Prior to joining APTS, Ellen worked with the Christian Science Publishing Society as a project manager. Her projects included the re-organization of radio and television broadcasting programs, a website redesign, and the launch of an audio download store. Ellen also has experience in the grantmaking world. She worked with San Diego Grantmakers as their member services coordinator, the Tuttleman Family Foundation as their grant coordinator, and the Jewish Community Foundation as their youth philanthropy coordinator. Her combined experience in these roles included addressing membership needs, reviewing and evaluating grant proposals, and writing successful grant proposals.

Ellen is a native of Davis, California and a member of the California Bar. She graduated from Boston College Law School in 2007 and the University of California, San Diego, cum laude, in 2003 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish.
