This NEA grant program provides funding to encourage and support artistic creativity, preserve diverse cultural heritage and make the arts more widely available.
American Masterpieces: Visual Arts Touring
This component of NEA's American Masterpieces program provides funding to tour major art exhibitions.
Challenge America Fast-Track
The goal of this NEA program is to support small- and mid-sized organizations for projects that extend the arts to underserved populations that have limited access to the arts.
Learning in the Arts for Children and Youth
The goal of this NEA program is to help young people acquire knowledge and understanding of skills in the arts by providing participatory learning opportunities and excellent art.

Through this program, NEA will provide grants for creative placemaking projects that contribute toward the livability of communities.

This NEA grant program replaces NEA's Arts on Radio and Television program and seeks to make the arts available to the public through every available media platform.

Grants from this NEA program are available to support the development, production and national distribution of radio and television programs on the arts.
The Big Read
NEA will award grants up to $20,000 each to support community events celebrating U.S. and world literature in an effort to restore reading to the center of American culture.
