On this webinar, we learned of the steps necessary for seeking federal funding for your station's projects. Meegan White, Project Director of the Grant Center, discussed how to identify opportunities, long-term planning for grant success and working with community partners. She also introduced participants to the free resources available through the Grant Center and to some specific grant programs of interest to public radio stations.

Additionally, Magaly Rivera, Project Manager for the U.S. Department of Education's Project LAMP (Learning Apps Media Partnership) and HITN Vice President of Development, discussed how to select federal funding opportunities aligned with your organization's mission and how to identify prospective partners. She also discussed the grant proposal writing process and what the administration of a federal grant entails.
