UNDERSTANDING GRANTSEEKING

Understanding Grantseeking

Grant Center Webinar, co-presented with the Latino Public Radio Consortium
Wednesday, November 9, 2011
2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. EST

Are you new to foundation grantseeking? Do you want to learn more about how to build a relationship with a foundation? Is your station interested in diversifying its revenue? This webinar covered the basics of grantseeking, from defining your project to identifying prospective funders and from building relationships to developing proposals. Viewers gained a greater understanding of what foundations care about, what makes a strong proposal, and where you can find additional tools and resources to help you along the way.

Amie Miller, DEI Foundation Development Advisor and Hugo Morales, Executive Director of Radio Bilingüe, Inc. joined together for a discussion of how to make grantseeking work for your station. This webinar was co-presented by the Grant Center and the Latino Public Radio Consortium and was open to all interested stations. Spanish translation was also available.
