APTS is excited to announce the launch of it's grasstops advocacy group, the Leadership Council. We are actively seeking Council members and are asking all stations to nominate at least one community person (Board Member, major donor, station volunteer, etc) to represent your station on the Council.  You can find additional information on the type of people you should nominate to the Council in the program guide. We are accepting nominations on a rollilng basis.

We were very pleased that the November 20th inaugural Leadership Council conference call was a huge success! Public broadcasting’s own Judy Woodruff, an award-winning broadcasting journalist and veteran of the past 10 elections, provided Council members and other participants with invaluable insight into this year’s historic election, including a snapshot of Washington’s future under an Obama Administration. Thank you to all who were able to join us on the call—we hope you were able to come away from the call with a clearer vision of the challenges we face in the coming years.
