WTIU Encourages Children to Explore the World Around Them

WTIU, public media for West and South Central Indiana, produces and broadcasts the EMMY Award winning weekly children’s series, The Friday Zone. Now in its 13th year, The Friday Zone is hosted by two college students and regularly features children from the local area performing various activities from conducting science experiments to learning how to cook to playing musical instruments. The Friday Zone‘s mission is to encourage children to investigate, experience and understand the world around them.

The Friday Zone airs Fridays at 4:30 p.m. and on Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. on WTIU.
