Opportunity and Strength
The APTS Higher Education Coalition focuses on identifying and pursuing policies to create new funding sources for partnership activities between institutions of higher education and local public television stations. The coalition highlights the many ways local public television stations can use their resources to help institutions of higher education fulfill their educational missions. APTS professional are also demonstrating the connection between technology and higher student achievement to policymakers at the federal, state and local levels to justify funding requests.

APTS pursues Digital Expansion Grants
APTS is working with both the House and the Senate to integrate the priorities and capabilities of public television stations and their university partners into the reauthorizaiton of the Higher Education Act. Download the July 13 memo to coalition members and bill language.
