The 2013 National Advocacy Awards
The 2013 National Advocacy Awards recognize two exceptional individuals who exemplify effective advocacy on behalf of public television. This year's awards were given to Ruby Calvert, General Manager of Wyoming PBS, and Mark Leonard, General Manager of Illinois Public Media.
The 2013 David J. Brugger Grassroots Advocacy Award
APTS presented The 2013 David J. Brugger Grassroots Advocacy Award to Jo Ellen Chatham for her outstanding work as a lay leader and advocate in the public broadcasting system, as well as serving as co-chair of the PBS SoCal board of trustees.
The 2012 National Advocacy Awards
The 2012 National Advocacy Awards recognize two exceptional individuals who exemplify effective advocacy on behalf of public television.
The 2012 David J. Brugger Grassroots Advocacy Award
APTS presented the 2012 David J. Brugger Grassroots Advocacy Award to Catherine Ann Stevens for her work this past year during the most challenging federal funding crisis of the past 15 years, as well as her long-time service on the WETA board of trustees.
