On Friday, November 2, 2012, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) invited a select number of public broadcasting stations to join a special Grant Center webinar. Stations who were asked to submit Phase Two proposals for the Emergency Alert and Communication Grant Program, based on their high scoring preliminary materials, attended a webinar to learn more about what’s expected in the second phase of the program. Viewers heard from CPB officials about the Phase Two grant guidelines, as well as from Grant Center representatives on potential opportunities for additional funding to support emergency alert and communication projects.
