Developing Successful Partnerships

Whether you are partnering on a grant or a community outreach project, collaborating with other like-minded organizations can produce a wider impact. Many stations have had tremendous success developing and maintaining partnerships with community organizations, corporations, educational institutions and federal agencies among many others. On the Grant Center webinar Partnership Opportunities with IMLS from April 27, 2012, presenter Matt Williams of KQED provided these excellent tips on how to develop a shared vision with potential partners. Elizabeth Babcock of the California Academy of Sciences, partnered with KQED on an IMLS grant to build a digital learning lab in the San Francisco community.
