Description: Kemper Marley was a rancher and liquor distributor. He was a founder of the Farmers and Stockmen's Bank in Phoenix. He was named in connection with the assassination of an

Arizona investigative reporter, but no connection to the crime was found by police. The Foundation is focused on supporting organizations that help those who live and work in Arizona. Grants support:

• Arts/culture.
• Community enhancement, including parks, zoos and historic preservation.
• Health and human services.
• Education for all ages.
• Medical facilities/research

The Foundation supports many of the same organizations year after year.

Sample grants:

• $200,000 to KAET – Channel 8 in capital support (2008); additional $300,000 approved.
