Kentucky Education Television’s (KET) Fast Forward learning system — featuring comprehensive online courses, professional development, e-books, and the Dropping Back In documentary series — is KET’s most-advanced multiplatform learning system for adult education. The all-new Fast Forward courses prepare learners and teachers for a tougher new GED® test and alternate assessments, with a wealth of educational resources online and on mobile devices. This system emphasizes the skills required for college and career success, and is aligned to the new, more rigorous standards across subjects.

Dropping Back In brings the crisis home, in interviews with teachers, successful learning centers and dropouts who have dropped back in, describing the real cost to our country and showing the value education brings back to the lives of these individuals and their communities. The Dropping Back In website features full-length programs and short segments — all available via streaming — and a community engagement toolkit full of resources, including customizable videos and templates for print, web and social media.

KET’s new Fast Forward Partner Station Program can help you inspire change in your community and generate revenue for your station. By promoting Fast Forward and offering a link to the online courses from your website, you can make Fast Forward readily accessible in your community.

Fast Forward and Dropping Back In are part of American Graduate: Let’s Make it Happen, a public media initiative supported by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to help local communities across America address the dropout crisis. Stop by the KET booth and go to http://www.ketfastforward.org/ to learn more.
