
Grant Center Discussion Forum Is Now Live

The Grant Center is excited to announce the launch of the Grant Center Forum. We hope that this discussion board, hosted on the Grant Center website, will be a valuable resource through which you can discuss grantseeking tips and techniques, share resources and tools, and connect with other public media grant professionals. There is a lot of collective knowledge in the public media grant community, and we hope that the Grant Center Forum will provide an opportunity to bring it together for everyone's benefit.
A number of discussion threads have already been created. When you become a Forum member, you will be able to join these conversations about grant opportunity procedures, sustainability, and designing partnerships, and you'll be able to start your own topic to get feedback and assistance from your peers. We encourage you to check the Forum often to see new discussion topics, add your perspective, and ask the questions that are most pressing to you.
Getting Started
In order to protect the integrity of the information posted and to prevent internet bots from invading the discussion, a username and password are required to use the Forum.
- APTS Member Station employees can use their APTS website username and password. If you have log-in credentials but don't remember them, click here.
- If you don't already have a username and password, you'll need to create them. The process is free and simple, but it is different for public television and public radio stations. Please read on.
Requesting a Username
- Access the Grant Center homepage.
- Select Request an Account in the top right corner below the Member Access box.
- Public television station employees should select Public TV Station Account Registration, follow the application instructions, and click submit. A temporary username and password will be sent to you via the email address you provided. Use these credentials to log in via the Member Access box in the top right corner of the Grant Center homepage.
- Radio station employees should select Non-Public TV Station Account Registration. Input a username and email address and select Create New Account. A pre-set password will be sent to you via the email address you provided. Use this password and your username to log in via the Member Access box in the top right corner of the Grant Center homepage.
Accessing the Forum
After you've logged in on the Grant Center homepage, click the APTS Forums link, which is on the right side of the menu at the top of the homepage. Or, click here to enter the Forum.
